LAMIS was undertaken by researchers from the Red Iberoamericana de Estudios en Hombres Gay, otros Hombres que tienen Sexo con Hombres y Personas Trans, the Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience, Maastricht University (Netherlands), the Department for Infectious Disease Epidemiology, Robert Koch Institute (Germany), and Sigma Research at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (United Kingdom).
